設計というと、華やかな意匠のデザインに目が行きがちですが、コストやスケジュール、品質の管理、社会的な意義、出来上がってからの運営からクロージングまで、そのフィールドはとても広く、深いと考えています。
私はその範囲も一つの「デザイン」と捉えて、「完成した時に一番美しいものではなく、使い終わる時が一番美しいものをつくる」を理念に日々設計をしています。
When it comes to design, people tend to focus on the glamorous and aesthetic aspects. However, I believe that the field of design is much broader and deeper, encompassing cost, schedule, and quality management, as well as social significance, operation, and closure after completion.
I see all of these aspects as part of "design" and adhere to the philosophy of "creating something that is most beautiful not when it's finished, but when it is no longer in use" in my daily design work.
